NEW YORK (PIX11) – Wet weather will linger on Sunday as the northeastern remnants of Helene continue to impact our region.

Still, the rain remains light. It will feel more comfortable with dewpoints remaining in the 50s on Sunday. A high of around 67 degrees is expected with temperatures staying steady.

On Monday, there will be a better chance of seeing some sun. Temperatures will warm up a bit with highs in the low 70s. It will still be cloudy but little to no precipitation likely.

By Tuesday and Wednesday, a weak cold front is expected to begin pushing through the region. This could again stir up some showers throughout Tuesday up until late Wednesday night. It will still feel comfortable out with temperatures in the upper 60s.

Thursday marks the return of abundant sunshine with dry air and mild temperatures in the low 70s. Heading into next weekend, there is a warming trend with temps possibly in the mid-70s.
