Known as the city’s only corn maze, the amazing maize maze inside the Queens County Farm Museum is now open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until October 26.

David Hughes is the Executive director of Queens County Farm Museum. He says, “It’s a puzzle you’re going to navigate; it’s carved in the shape of a monarch butterfly.”

And the maze isn’t the only thing to do at the 47-acre park.

    You can take a hayride.

You can check out the animals, such as the pigs, chickens, or cows. You can also visit the vegetable stand or the antique farmhouse.

    This weekend- another special event.

The farm is hosting its 41st annual Agricultural Fair on October 5 and 6. There will be a carnival, live music and entertainment, and food trucks, among other things.

Hughes says, “It’s a magical time to be on a farm. The harvest is coming in.”

“Our mission is to preserve interpret this historical magical site, and we do that through sustainable agriculture; we also have educational initiatives public and cultural programs.”

The Lam family from Bayridge, Brooklyn, tried the maze on Friday.

Jeremy Lam said, “I want to get to the end and not get lost.”

Another highlight at the farm is the pumpkin patch, which Mom Nicola Fennel and her daughter Nayah visit every few weeks.

Fennel said, “I love that it’s so open and so free they can kinda just roam around.”

Friday- 7-year-old Ansonbella Jiang from Flushing picked not just one, but two perfect tiny pumpkins.”

Jiang said, “Because it’s small. I like small because it’s not heavy and it’s good to hold.”

Entrance to the farm is free throughout the year, but the Agricultural fair and the corn maze are ticketed events.
