Amazon will hire for 8,000 jobs in NYC, including seasonal positions

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Amazon announced Thursday that 8,000 jobs will open in NYC, including full-time and seasonal roles.

The announcement comes as the retail industry prepares for the busy holiday season.

Seasonal employees earn at least $18 per hour, including benefits like health care coverage. Seasonal employees who stay with Amazon can see an average pay increase of 15% over the first three years.

Jobs will be posted online throughout the holiday season. Job seekers can sign up for job alerts by texting NEWJOB to 31432.

Full-time jobs currently available include sales, advertising, account management, marketing, and software development positions.
