Off-duty city employee arrested in Queens

QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) – An off-duty NYPD traffic agent was arrested Monday morning in Queens, authorities said.

Mohammad Islam, 40, was taken into custody at 11:40 a.m.

He was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. Sources say Islam was involved in an argument that escalated.

Additional information about the arrest was not immediately available.
