    Train operator stabbed at NYC subway station: police

    CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn (PIX11) – A train operator was stabbed at a subway station in Brooklyn Tuesday morning, police said.

    The incident happened at the Crown Heights–Utica Avenue station around 10:50 a.m., according to the NYPD.

    The 64-year-old train operator was stabbed in the leg and abdomen on a southbound platform, police said.

    The suspect fled after the stabbing, police said.

    Additional information about the incident wasn’t immediately available.
