    NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – A pay hike is on the horizon for New Jersey residents.

    The Garden State’s minimum wage is going up to $15.49 for most employees starting on Jan. 1, 2025.

    The 36-cent increase is an adjustment due to inflation, officials said.

    New Jersey has the fourth-highest minimum wage in the U.S., behind only California, Washington and Connecticut.
