2 decomposed bodies found in NYC home: NYOPD

MELROSE, the Bronx (PIX11) — Two partially decomposed bodies were found on a bed in a Bronx home on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Authorities found the 57-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman in the bedroom at 431 East 154th St. in Melrose at around 4:15 p.m., according to the NYPD.

The bodies had no signs of trauma and it was unknown if they died of an overdose, police said.

The relationship between the victims was unclear.

The investigation is ongoing.
