STATEN ISLAND (PIX11) – Nearly 10,000 runners will zip through Staten Island for Sunday’s half marathon, which will prompt road closures across the borough.

The 13.1-mile course runs along Staten Island’s waterfront, with views of New York Harbor and the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge. It’s the last of New York Road Runners’ running series that took athletes across all five boroughs.
