Dead man found in Pelham Bay: NYPD

PELHAM BAY, the Bronx (PIX11) — A 43-year-old man was found dead on a Bronx street Wednesday afternoon, police said.

Officers found the body near Orchard Beach Road and Bartow Circle in Pelham Bay at around 1:35 p.m., according to the NYPD. The man has not been identified.

The body did not have any signs of trauma and the medical examiner will determine the cause of death, police said.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.

Also in the Bronx, two partially decomposed bodies were found on a bed in a home in Melrose on Tuesday, according to the NYPD. Officials are still investigating how the man and woman died, police said.
