    2 sought in more than a dozen ATM heists in NYC

    NEW YORK (PIX11) — Police are searching for two suspects wanted in more than a dozen ATM heists across New York City over the past four months, according to the NYPD.

    The men are accused of stealing approximately 17 ATMs from businesses in Brooklyn and Manhattan beginning in June, police said Thursday. The thieves allegedly took the ATMs were taken from delis, grocery, stores, liquor stores, convenience stores, and restaurants before fleeing in various vehicles, including a white van, authorities said.

    In the first incident, one of the suspects, wearing a mask and gloves, allegedly took a machine from a deli at 740 Broadway in Brooklyn on June 2, cops said.

    The last incident occurred on Sept. 20 when multiple people allegedly stole an ATM from a restaurant at 911 Erskine St. in Brooklyn, police said.

    It was unclear how much money the suspects made off with, cops said.

    There were no injuries in any of the heists.
