    Woman punched, mugged on No. 6 train at Bronx subway station: NYPD

    BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) – A woman was punched and mugged while riding a No. 6 train at a Bronx subway station on Oct. 5, according to the NYPD.

    It happened around 10:30 p.m. The victim was on the train at the Castle Hill Avenue station when her cellphone was stolen and she was punched in the face multiple times, police said.

    The suspect, a man believed to be in his 30s, fled the train. The victim was treated for her injuries, according to authorities.
