UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) – Get ready to shop until you drop from more than 100 local makers.

The NYC Makers Bazaar will line the streets of the Upper West Side on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. More than 180 local merchants will set up shop inside and outside of 100 West 77th Street in Manhattan.

    Things To Do Around NYC

The bazaar will offer everything from fashion to handmade jewelry to artisanal foods ready to eat. Shoppers will have the opportunity to grab one-of-a-kind and limited-edition handmade goods.

If you can’t make it to the Makers Bazaar, the Grand Bazaar NYC will continue to offer its curated weekly market every Sunday on the Upper West Side.

The bazaar focuses on providing affordable rental space for local dealers and donates 100% of its proceeds to local public schools.

The tradition of funding education remains in line with the bazaar’s origins 45 years ago. It was originally launched as the GreenFlea Market around 1979 by parents trying to raise funds for their kids’ schools.
