NYC hiring event to offer jobs on the spot

NEW YORK (PIX11) — The New York City Administration of Children’s Services is hosting a hiring event at the New York City Public Library in the Bronx on Oct. 25.

The ACS is seeking Youth Development Specialist positions throughout NYC and may make immediate hiring decisions and conditional job offers on the spot.

Applicants must have a year of full-time experience working with juveniles or young adults, a four-year high school diploma, and an associate or baccalaureate degree from an accredited college.

Starting salary is $53,341, and includes comprehensive health insurance and higher education opportunities. More information about the position can be found on the ACS website .

Applicants will need to fill out a form online . Only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted further about the hiring event.
