NYC to host job hiring event: Meet potential employers

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) — On the search for a new job?

New York City is hosting a hiring hall to connect job seekers with private employers and resources, including public benefits.

The monthly resource fair will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 30 at the Gerard Carter Center, 230 Broad Street.

Attendees should dress in professional or business attire and have a photo ID and copies of their resume to give to employers. Some employers may hold job interviews on the spot, but interviews are not guaranteed.

Attendees must register for one of four timeslots . Doors close at 1:30 p.m.
