    NJ apple orchard cooks hot dogs in their apple cider

    NEW JERSEY (PIX11) — Fall is officially here, and many fun activities like apple picking, have begun.

    One apple orchard in Chester Township, N.J., is taking fall flavors to a new level with its cider hot dogs.

    Yes – Nathan’s Hot Dogs are cooked in apple cider. The hot dog is topped with baked beans, sauerkraut, and chili — all cooked with cider.

    The creation is being served up at HackleBarney Farm.

    The cider hot dogs cost $4; each topping is a dollar extra. Some people are calling the “cider dogs” a game-changer.

    Hacklebarney Farm is open Thursday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
