Thousands of Verizon Fios users report outage in NY: Downdetector

NEW YORK (PIX11) — Thousands of Verizon users in New York reported outages Tuesday night, according to Downdetector .

The most reported locations include the New York City area and Philadelphia, according to the company’s website.

Verizon customers took to X , claiming there were issues with Verizon’s internet service.

In response to one user complaining about disrupted service on Long Island, Verizon support acknowledged an outage and provided an estimated service would be restored by 6:45 a.m. Wednesday.

This marks the second day Verizon Fios users have reported disruptions to their service.
