Man accused of raping woman, threatening to rob her in the Bronx: sources

BEDFORD PARK, the Bronx (PIX11) – A man is accused of raping a woman after he threatened to rob her, saying he had a gun, in the Bronx on Sunday, sources told PIX11 News.

It happened near Webster Avenue and East Mosholu Parkway South in Bedford Park around 1 a.m., according to the NYPD.

The suspect is accused of telling the 25-year-old victim to empty her pockets and walked with her before the rape, sources said.

The man, wearing all black, was last seen traveling southbound on Webster Avenue, police said.
