    Off-duty Department of Sanitation employee arrested in Brooklyn: NYPD

    BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — An off-duty New York City employee was arrested Tuesday night in Brooklyn.

    Michael Perez, 49, is an employee of the Department of Sanitation, according to the NYPD.

    Perez was taken into custody at 7:55 p.m. and charged with weapon charges.
