NYC hiring for entry-level jobs with starting salaries over $50,000

NEW YORK (PIX11) – New York City is looking to hire for entry-level jobs – and is willing to pay you a starting salary of over $50,000.

The Office of Management and Budget wants to fill a role for an assistant analyst . You’ll join a team of analysts and experts who look over budgets that fund city agencies. The starting salary for the position is $58,581 and increases depending on qualifications and experience.

An administrative assistant job is open in the same department. The position focuses on managing schedules, typing up documents, preparing spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, and more. The salary starts at $60,000.

The New York City Housing Authority’s Office of the Inspector General is looking for a vendor integrity investigator . The role entails doing background checks on profit and non-profit vendors who want to work with NYCHA. The salary range is from $50,775 to $62,470.

Many of these positions do not require candidates to take a civil service exam .
