Affordable housing opens for building near Prospect Park

PROSPECT PARK SOUTH, Brooklyn (PIX11) — A new affordable housing lottery has opened for a building steps away from Prospect Park.

Located at 435 Coney Island Avenue, the 435 Coney Island Apartments, is a pet-friendly building with amenities including a fitness center, a dog park, and a roof deck.

The building has 39 available units, including studios and one-bedroom apartments.

The property is listed on the NYC Housing Connect website, an online portal where people can find and apply for affordable housing opportunities in New York City.

Applications for the 435 Coney Island Apartments will remain open until Dec. 6. The eligible income range is $68,435 – $384,087.
