    Suspects sought after man shot in both legs in Long Island City: NYPD

    LONG ISLAND CITY, Queens (PIX11) — A man was shot in Long Island City Sunday morning, according to the NYPD.

    The incident happened around 5:06 a.m. at 11-02 43rd Avenue.

    Police say a 39-year-old man was shot in both legs. He was taken to a hospital in Elmhurst by private means.

    Three men reportedly fled the scene in a purple and green Infiniti. Investigations are ongoing.
