    Advancing the Science: Latest Alzheimer's & Dementia Treatments | Free Webinar

    The South Carolina Alzheimer's Association (SCAA) is offering, Advancing the Science, webinar covering the latest advancements and treatments in Alzheimer's and Dementia on June 20, 2024 at 12:00 pm. Acoording to SCAA, more than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s — an escalating health crisis that affects many in the community. At the same time, significant progress in Alzheimer’s research has led to advancements in diagnosing, treating and preventing dementia. Join the SCAA to learn more about the latest in Alzheimer’s research, and how the Alzheimer’s Association is leading the way toward a world without Alzheimer’s and all dementia.

    The free classes, support groups and early stage social offerings provide information and support for those facing Alzheimer's or another dementia.

    In addition to traditional in-person programs, SCAA also offer virtual programs and support groups. Registration is required for these offerings in order to receive details to access the video conference, either through webinar (video) or by phone (audio only).
