Partners in Policymaking is looking for candidates interested in advocating for themselves and those in the disability community. Partners in Policymaking is a leadership training program designed for adults with disabilities and parents. It equips participants with the skills to advocate for themselves and others.

Program details are listed below.

Duration: Five months
Location: Columbia, SC
Schedule: One weekend per month (Friday 12:00 pm - Saturday 4:00 pm)
Session Dates:
- October 18-19, 2024
- November 8-9, 2024
- January 17-18, 2025
- February 7-8, 2025
- March 14-15, 2025

Benefits for Participants:
- Reimbursement for travel costs
- Provided lodging and meals (dinner on Friday, breakfast and lunch on Saturday)
- Attendant support and respite reimbursement for eligible participants
