HEART Inclusive Arts Community Presents MonoMyth the Musical

HEART Inclusive Arts Community, a performing arts group for adults with disabilities, is thrilled to announce the premiere of their original musical production MonoMyth at the Charleston Music Hall.

Created collaboratively by HEART’s talented "HEARTists," MonoMyth is a journey set in ancient Greece, following a hero on a quest to recover his lost memories. With the help of some unexpected companions, he strives to fulfill his purpose—if only he can remember it. Join them for this epic adventure and celebrate the incredible creativity of HEART’s artists.

About HEART

HEART is a nonprofit, multidisciplinary arts studio for adults with disabilities. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, HEART has made a space where diverse individuals with disabilities can grow as artists. Together, HEART creates visual arts, music, performance events and theater productions that reflect the HEARTists’ inner lives, lived experiences, and views of the world around them. Each year, HEART creates an all new original musical written, produced, directed, and performed by its member artists, known as “HEARTists.” Creating these original shows by and for the HEARTists allows everyone to play out the stories and characters they would like to portray and see on the stage.
