NY weather update: Flood advisory likely to expire at 12:15 a.m.
The advisory was for Dutchess County. "The Flood Advisory will expire at 12:15 a.m. early this morning for a portion of east central New York, including the following area, Dutchess. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures," according to the National Weather Service.

Two suspects robbed a scooter at gunpoint, causing bruising to the 18-year-old victim, and then used the stolen scooter to steal a purse from a woman, causing a cut to her mouth and leg.
Red Lobster to close more struggling restaurants this week
Red Lobster is closing more restaurants across the country amid its ongoing Chapter 11 bankruptcy process. In a bankruptcy filing Thursday, the company said it was rejecting the leases of 23 struggling locations that it had deemed to be a drain on its finances. Judge hits 50th homer for Yankees, becoming 5th player to do it 3 times
NEW YORK (AP) — Yankees slugger Aaron Judge hit his 50th homer of the season on Sunday, connecting in the first inning against the Colorado Rockies. Judge drove a 0-2 changeup from Austin Gomber into the visiting bullpen in left-center to give the Yankees a 2-1 lead. It was his 18th homer in the first this season, matching Alex Rodriguez in 2001 for the major league record.

Two Men Allegedly Lead Police on High Speed Chase Through Sullivan and Orange
New York State Police said that they pursued two suspects from Westchester County, that lead them on a high speed chase that took them through two counties. The chase took police on two of the areas busier state routes, and then ended with a crash on the New York Thruway.
