Hartford Draw Charleston 2-2 at Home
After a two-game road trip, Hartford returned back home and earned a point in a 2-2 draw with the Charleston Battery. After a quiet opening for both teams in the first half of tonight’s match, Hartford took control and opened up the scoring in the 20th minute. Younes Boudadi looped a quality cross into the six yard box that was headed by Michee Ngalina, deflecting it off of Mamadou Dieng right in front of goal and into the net. Police say 24-year-old Bloomfield man died in shooting Saturday
BLOOMFIELD, Conn. — One person is dead after a shooting in Bloomfield Saturday evening, the police department reports. Around 7:40 p.m., police responded to 5 Evan Lane after receiving word of a shooting. Upon arrival, they located a 24-year-old man from Bloomfield suffering from a single gunshot wound to the neck, police said.

WETHERSFIELD, Conn. — A suspicious death was reported at the Motel 6 on Silas Deane Highway early Saturday morning, according to a release from Wethersfield police.
