2024 Italian Grand Prix – Qualifying F1 results (Monza)

Here are the complete F1 results from the qualifying session at the Italian Grand Prix, the 16th round of the F1 2024 season at the historic Monza circuit.

McLaren driver Lando Norris claimed a second consecutive pole position in Italian Grand Prix qualifying, edging out team-mate Oscar Piastri by 0.109 seconds.

Mercedes driver George Russell recovered from an interrupted Friday at Monza to secure third on the grid, ahead of Ferrari drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.

Lewis Hamilton was classified sixth, one place ahead of Red Bull driver and World Championship leader Max Verstappen.

Verstappen is nursing a 70-point lead over Norris heading into Sunday’s race.

Verstappen managed to outqualify team-mate Sergio Perez, who eased off towards the end of his final Q3 lap to let Verstappen through after kicking up gravel on the exit of Lesmo 2.

Alex Albon was an impressive ninth for Williams, with Haas driver Nico Hulkenberg completing the top 10.
