Council Considers Changes To 'Parental Supervision' Ordinance
The Montgomery City Council's public safety committee met on August 8th to consider changes to the proposed ‘Parental Responsibility and Supervision’ ordinance. If passed, the ordinance would mean that the parents or guardian of a child who commits any of the acts listed in the ordinance could face fines, community service or even jail time.
Huntingdon looks to reclaim the USA South Title in 2024
After coming in second in the USA South Conference last football season, the Huntingdon Hawks will look to reclaim the conference crown from Belhaven in 2024. With the exception of the Covid season in 2020-21, that was the first year that Huntingdon had not won the title since the 2018-19 season.
