MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - A single-vehicle crash in Montgomery has claimed the life of a 10-year-old and left four others injured. Central Alabama first responders return from helping with hurricane flooding; others prep for storms

Montgomery neighborhood ramps up security measures to combat property crime
Montgomery’s escalating crime rate and police shortage forces neighborhood associations to figure out their own solutions to prevent thieves with guns from burglarizing cars and homes. One Montgomery neighborhood is taking steps to fight back against thieves committing property crimes in their community. McGehee Estates is planning to add more Flock cameras to the 16 they currently have after a rash of car break-ins.
