The Grace Foundation’s Christmas in July brings Santa Claus, smiles to Staten Island
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — It was a day of smiles and fun as hundreds attended The Grace Foundation’s first annual Christmas in July celebration Saturday. From noon to 4 p.m., 460 Brielle Avenue in Sea View was transformed into a special place where children and adults could enjoy a skating rink, bouncy houses, music, and arts and crafts. Guests were greeted with traditional Christmas music, thanks to outdoor speakers.

Yorktown Adopts New ATV Law in Response to Vehicular Assault
YORKTOWN, N.Y. – The Town Board adopted new regulations for all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and off-highway motorcycles on Tuesday in response to a vehicular assault in a public park last summer. Under the new local law, it is illegal to operate an ATV or off-road motorcycle on any public property in Yorktown. The new law also forbids operating any state-registered motor vehicle, including Jeeps, 4x4s or trucks, on town park trails.
