89-year-old comedian recovering after she was randomly punched on New York street
NEW YORK (AP) — An 89-year-old comedian is recovering after being randomly punched and knocked to the ground while waiting to cross a street in New York earlier this month. D’yan Forest said she had just stopped at a coffee shop and was heading to a swimming pool when someone came up to her from behind and hit her in the eye. She lay on the ground in shock as police and paramedics came to her aid.

Fandango Founder James Michael Cline’s Suicide Note Found After Jumping To Death From NYC Hotel’s 20th Floor
James Michael Cline, the entrepreneur who founded the popular movie ticketing service Fandango, died Tuesday in an apparent suicide in Manhattan. He was 64. The New York Police Department reported that officers responded to a call at the Kimberly Hotel in midtown at 10:19 a.m. They found an unresponsive male with injuries consistent with a fall from a great height. The investigation is ongoing.

From noon to 4 p.m., 460 Brielle Avenue in Sea View was transformed into a special place where children and adults could enjoy a skating rink, bouncy houses, music, and arts and crafts. Yorktown Adopts New ATV Law in Response to Vehicular Assault
YORKTOWN, N.Y. – The Town Board adopted new regulations for all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) and off-highway motorcycles on Tuesday in response to a vehicular assault in a public park last summer. Under the new local law, it is illegal to operate an ATV or off-road motorcycle on any public property in Yorktown. The new law also forbids operating any state-registered motor vehicle, including Jeeps, 4x4s or trucks, on town park trails.
