my husband and I drove up there a month or so ago. it's closed to the public and fenced off because it looks like they're renovating. if you go the road is very steep and rough. there isn't much room to turn around at the top and we disturbed the dog at the closest house. stay on the public road and look it's pretty cool but I would wait till I heard it's open again to go.
