Commissions Don’t Support Plan for Skinny Franklinton Tower
A proposal to build a mixed-use development on a tenth-of-an-acre lot in Franklinton has not gone over well with the two commissions that have voted on it so far. Rob Ellis, of Pink Development and Construction, unveiled a plan in May to build an 11-story, 81-unit building at 278 S. Glenwood Ave., a vacant lot located between two warehouse-style buildings. Since that initial announcement, though, the proposal was modified – the zoning application submitted to the City of Columbus would have actually allowed for a 200-foot-tall building with 162 residential units.

Seeing Ohio State play Northwestern at Wrigley Field this fall won’t be cheap. Northwestern has announced tickets for the contest are now available to the general public. According to prices shown on Northwestern's online ticket office, Ticketmaster and VividSeats, the cheapest price to attend the game is $94, though most tickets are in the $300 to $400 range.
