StormTeam 3: Lingering showers and storms possible today
A low-end threat for showers and storms exists Thursday with a severe weather risk also in the cards. A low pressure system is sitting over southeastern Minnesota and North Iowa Thursday morning, which will eventually push eastward. This movement will open the door for the possibility of some wrap-around showers and storms into the region. Due to our humid air mass that remains in place, any storm that does manage to form has the potential to reach severe criteria.
