Motorcyclist seriously injured after deer collision west of Palmyra
A motorcyclist was seriously injured early Monday morning after colliding with a deer on Highway 168, two miles west of Palmyra, Missouri. The accident occurred at approximately 12:45 a.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Warren W. Godfrey, 35, of Philadelphia, Missouri, was riding a 2008 Harley-Davidson eastbound on Highway 168 when the motorcycle struck a deer in the roadway. The impact caused the motorcycle to skid off the right side of the road and come to rest.

CHICAGO (WAND) — Several central Illinois dispensaries have received loans through the Cannabis Social Equity Loan Program. Last week, Governor JB Pritzker and the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity announced the recipients of $5.5 million in loans.
