Viewers of KSLA Television in Shreveport witnessed a rather strange event during the television station's noon broadcast on Wednesday. I actually saw this with my own eyes and heard Austin Evans, that's the high hair guy, say the words "Cold Front".

Louisiana folks already have a hard time keeping cool in the summertime, and now we have to worry that our bottled water might be unsafe to drink. We have all forgotten our water bottles in the car on a hot summer day at some point. If you leave them in your car or in the sun long enough, you may have noticed that they have a strange chemical-like aftertaste. Scientists have been warning us that chemicals 'linked to hormonal imbalances' such as BPA can contaminate the liquid inside the bottle.

As an observer of lottery drawings in Louisiana, I feel obligated to suggest to those who want to strike it rich playing lottery games with the Louisiana Lottery should be participating in those games over the next week or so. The reason? Lady Luck appears to have moved back into Louisiana and she's apparently applying her "magic" to lottery tickets sold here in The Boot.
