Christopher Powell, 19, was arrested in Smith County on Oct. 16, 2023, after a stolen Camaro fled from Louisiana through East Texas. SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - A Shreveport businessman has been arrested for allegedly creating a terrorizing post on social media. Officials with the Shreveport Police Department say on Aug. 16, Nicki Daniels, 39, was arrested and charged with terrorizing after allegedly making a post on Facebook that caused widespread concern among the community. Police say they got dozens of messages and phone calls from concerned people in the area. SPD immediately began to investigate the situation, resulting in Daniels’ arrest.

SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Two men face charges after police say they shot up an apartment complex in Shreveport. Officials with the Shreveport Police Department say on July 29, officers responded to multiple 911 calls about shots being fired at Stone Vista Apartments on East Stoner Avenue.
