Gov. Landry attends groundbreaking for Jimmie Davis Bridge project
SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Gov. Jeff Landry joined the LaDOTD at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20 for a groundbreaking ceremony for the Jimmie Davis Bridge project. The ceremony celebrated the official start of construction on the new bridge. Officials say the $360 million project will double the capacity of the roadway and river crossing.
