Taste of the Arts 2024 takes over downtown Fort Wayne next weekend
FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Downtown Fort Wayne will come alive with art and food, all combined for the annual Taste of the Arts Festival next weekend. Birds Tie Purdue FW 0-0, Remain Unbeaten under DeRose
FORT WAYNE, IN – Illinois State Soccer (1-0-1, 0-0-0 MVC) remained unbeaten on the 2024 season with a scoreless draw Sunday at Purdue Fort Wayne (0-1-1, 0-0-0 Horizon). The Redbirds are unbeaten through the first two games of a season for the first time since the 2018 campaign, when Illinois State tied Cal State Northridge 2-2 and beat Eastern Michigan 1-0. First-year head coach Raleigh DeRose becomes the second coach in program history to be unbeaten through their first two games at the helm of Illinois State. Former head coach Drew Roff opened his first year at Illinois State with a 3-0-0 mark in 2007.

Semi slams into parked car on I-69, man hospitalized
DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WOWO) – A Louisville man is in the hospital after his car was rear-ended by a semi on I-69 Sunday night. Just before 10 p.m., DeKalb County police say a semi struck a vehicle that was on the side of the road on northbound I-69 at the 322 mile marker. Deputies arrived on scene and found a man laying on the ground in the right lane. Officers closed the interstate.
