Crews fight early morning Spencerville barn fire
SPENCERVILLE, Ind. (WPTA) - Crews are working to fight a barn fire in Spencerville early Tuesday morning, authorities say. According to officials working the scene, a barn caught fire on the intersection of Raynor Road and Cuba Road in rural Allen County. Crews say they are working to prevent the fire from spreading as the barn was already burnt to the ground when they arrived.
Suspect apprehended in Randolph County after police pursuit
UNION CITY, Ind. – Officers from the Union City Police Department attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and attempted to flee officers at a high rate of speed. The pursuit began in Union City, Indiana and went into Jay County prior to the suspect crashing his vehicle. The vehicle traveled off the roadway and rolled multiple times. The driver was identified as Anthony Weimer.
