Mills Receives High Marks From Evaluation
Cookeville City Manager James Mills received a score of 4.88 out of 5 on his annual assessment from City Council. Attorney Danny Rader said Mills’ strongest categories were business and finance, leadership, and his relationship with the council. CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Youth Academy Industrial Park Childcare Center opened its doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday afternoon. The facility site includes about 18 acres off Exit 8 and International Boulevard in the South Industrial Park to provide childcare services to nearby employees. Council Removes Streets From Alcohol Rules
Cookeville City Council voted 4-1 Thursday night to restrict alcohol at public events only to the Leslie Town Center parking lot or the Putnam County Fairgrounds. The council removed the portion of the new ordinance that would have allowed alcohol on selected streets, for events or festivals.
