Murfreesboro, TN - The Rutherford County Schools warn area residents that if they drive past Siegel High School around noon this Monday (8/5/2024), don't think a catastrophe is occuring. County School's Chief Communications Officer James Evans told WGNS, "It's a large scale school safety exercise that includes multiple law enforcement, emergency management and government agencies."

High Speed Chase Ends In Livingston Crash
Traffic slowed in Livingston Thursday night after a high-speed pursuit down Highway 111 ended in a crash. Traffic backed up at West Main Street near Advanced Auto Parts. Emergency officials said the incident began in Algood, when officers stopped a car on a traffic stop. The suspect gunned the car and fled. A high speed pursuit followed down Highway 111 with multiple law enforcement involved.
