WVU great Tavon Austin announced his retirement from the NFL Tuesday, leaving many to reflect on his football career. After putting up 1,932 yards and 15 touchdowns from scrimmage in his senior season in 2012, becoming a first-team All-American, Austin was selected eighth overall in the 2013 NFL draft by the then-St. Louis Rams. In his rookie season with STL, he racked up 418 receiving yards on 40 catches and four touchdowns while adding 151 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.

Fall-Like Start to the Week
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - Scattered rain showers are expected to linger into the start of the week as a low-pressure system to our north continues to move on the way out of the region. The big story, however, is with a cold front crossing today, temperatures are going to be fall-like throughout the first half of the week. Lowland highs in the low to mid-70s with lows that could fall as low as the upper 40s towards midweek. Mountain counties will experience highs in the mid to upper-60s with lows dropping down into the mid-40s by Wednesday. This will happen as high pressure builds in late Tuesday leading to clear skies for the rest of the work week. Temperatures are expected to rise as we get closer to the weekend.
