The score of the first friendly at Memphis was overheard at the second where the Dores comfortably handled a well-overmatched UAB squad. The stats are not available, but I think UAB only attempted 3 shots with only 1 forcing a save from Sara Wojdelko. Vanderbilt did not have a ton of shots either, but they were in and around the UAB penalty area plenty. However, the most effective attacks were keyed by one Commodore and came from deeper on the field.

Three 'Hometown Heroes' honored at 2024 Williamson County Fair
The Williamson County Fair recognized three veterans as its 2024 Hometown Heroes on Saturday, the final day of the nine-day fair. Those heroes included 28-year U.S. Army veteran Sgt. Harvey Chrisman, U.S. Air Force veteran E-5 classman Rich Krejsa, and U.S. Army veteran and West Point graduate Lt. Col. Greg Hoover. Hoover was unable to attend the ceremony.
