Man arrested on suspicion of starting vacant house fire in Citrus Heights
CITRUS HEIGHTS, Calif. — A man was arrested Monday on suspicion of starting a house fire in Citrus Heights. The Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District said the fire was at a vacant house along Cherry Glen Avenue at Auburn Boulevard. A spokesperson for the fire district said a person was burning the sheath off copper wiring before crews arrived.
Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Arrest
“On the night of August 13th, one of our deputies conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of County Road 102 and Highway 113 in Knights Landing. During the stop, the deputy observed drug paraphernalia (a meth pipe) inside the vehicle. Both occupants were removed from the car and detained.
