PLUMSTEAD TOWNSHIP, PA—Motorists trying to drive on Old Easton Road in Plumsted Township will face some closures over the next two weeks.

On July 23, Old Easton Road will be closed between Curly Hill Road and Route 611/Easton Road all day for drainage work. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Curly Hill Road between Route 611/Easton Road and Old Easton Road or Point Pleasant Pike.

On July 29, Old Easton Road will be closed from Signature Drive to Point Pleasant Pike and then from Point Pleasant Pike to just north of Tohickon Middle School from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for paving. Crews will pave the road in two passes to allow buses, emergency traffic and local residents to travel within the construction area working with traffic control flaggers.

Residents of the Summer Hill/Summer Meadow developments will need to go south on Old Easton Road from Signature Drive or use Burnt House Hill Road to exit the development. Employees of Penn Engineering will need to access that facility from the Curly Hill Road side of Old Easton Road.
