    Plymouth man dreams of buying ticket before winning $1 million lottery prize

    PLYMOUTH, Mass. (WWLP) – A Plymouth man has won the $1 million prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery’s “$4,000,000 Diamonds” $10 instant ticket game.

    According to the Massachusetts Lottery, Howard Kendall Jr. of Plymouth chose the cash option on his prize and received a one-time payment of $650,000, before taxes. The night before buying his ticket, Kendall said he dreamed of buying a diamond ticket.

    Kendall said he also plans on helping his kids and grandkids with his winnings. The Diamonds ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven on State Road in Plymouth. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale of this ticket.
