Howard Kendall Jr., of Plymouth, won the $1 million prize in the "$4,000,000 Diamonds" game, a $10 scratch-off.

He said the night before he won, he had a dream where he purchased a Diamonds ticket. So, when he woke up, he decided to make that a reality and hit the jackpot.

Kendall chose to take the lump-sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity

He said he wants to help his kids and grandkids with the cash.

Kenndal bought the ticket he dreamt about at 7-Eleven at 507 State Rd. in Plymouth. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for the sale.
