Man with dementia wakes up, stabs wife, grandson in Sterling Heights
STERLING HEIGHTS, MI – A 74-year-old man with dementia allegedly attacked his wife and grandson with a knife in Sterling Heights. According to the Sterling Heights Police Department, the incident occurred at a residence on Danforth Drive at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday after the woman tried to wake her sleeping husband.

The Ad Hoc Senior/Recreation Center Committee (SCC) advising the Birmingham City Commission on development of a senior and recreation center for the city voted on Wednesday, July 17, to recommend to city leaders a complete new building rather than rehab the building purchased from the YMCA at 400 E. Lincoln one year ago.
