BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) - Brunswick Regional Water & Sewer H2GO reported two overflow events and one bypass event of untreated wastewater on Aug. 8. 7,650 gallons overflowed at a manhole along Lanvale Road south of King Road in Leland and flowed to a drainage feature tributary to Sturgeon Creek. Appeals Court Judge Gore receives promotion
Judge W. Fred Gore of the North Carolina Court of Appeals was recently promoted from Major in the United States Army Reserve Judge Advocate Generals Corp (USAR JAG Corp) to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
